Map my run Planning is a process which involves the determination of future course of action, i.e.
why an action, how to take an action, and when to take action are main subjects of planning. Planning is what I do every time I map my run. The concept of planning may be broadly defined as the executive action that embodies the skill of anticipating, influencing, and controlling the nature and direction of change.
Above are the definitions of planning which puts in place some sense on why I map my run. Running, even if its only a five kilometer run is still considered a strenuous activity. It requires a great deal of effort to accomplish. Effort is equivalent to energy that you would otherwise use for, lets say money making activity.
Our society today is very much influenced by the principle of competition.
Careers, jobs, projects are won and lost each day. We pride ourselves with every victory we happen to achieve in our workplace from where we get our income. A workplace can be compared to an arena, and we are the gladiators fighting for survival.
We are fighting indeed to either keep in place of our position or to move up the ladder which is the goal of most of us. Unlike the gladiators of the past though, our battles in the office usually doesnt require us to do any heavy lifting. Our day in the desk is mostly comprised of looking at the computers monitor for hours. The only lifting we do is to carry some folders or papers for intra mail office communication perhaps?
